Ruta del Vino Almansa will once again be present at FiturThe leading trade fair and global meeting point for tourism professionals, on this occasion as a consolidated route following its adhesion to Wine Routes of Spain. During this past Wednesday, January 24, Almansa Wine Route was present on the day of the province of Albacete at the stand of the Castilla La Mancha Wine RoutesThe company also presented its wine tourism packages and experiences.
Almansa Wine Route has been present for the second consecutive year at Fitur, after the new image and website of the route was presented in 2023. In this edition, Ruta del vino Almansa presented all its wine tourism packages which, since October, can already be purchased on the website, along with visits to wineries that are members of the Route. In addition, the attendees were also informed of all the wine tourism potential that the Almansa Wine Route is able to offer at this time.
During this presentation, Rosana Trujillo, manager of Ruta del Vino de Almansa, was in charge of informing about all the wine tourism offer of the region, explaining the characteristics of the promotional packages and highlighting the details of its spectacular gastronomy. The enormous heritage to be discovered was also presented, together with the excellent wines of the Almansa Denomination of Origin, especially with our native variety, the Garnacha Tintorera.
After the official presentation, once again this year, the chef was the protagonist. Antonio González, of the restaurant + Ideas in Higueruela, which is also part of the Almansa Wine Route. The chef completed an exceptional showcooking with a sample of some of the most typical dishes of our region, highlighting the value of the gastronomy offered by the region. Almansa Wine Route. All this within the stand of Castilla-La Mancha, which with a spectacular staging and a global vision of the five provinces (Albacete, Ciudad Real, Toledo, Guadalajara and Cuenca), was promoted as “the Destination of Wonders”.
Therefore, Fitur has been the starting point for the Almansa Wine Route in 2024, we hope to continue promoting the wine tourism potential of our region with new wine tourism packages that can continue to exploit the peculiarities and potential offered by our Almansa Wine Route.
Our Almansa Wine Route was present at the latest edition of FITUR 2024, which has broken records and consolidated its position as the best tourism fair in the world. This fair received more than 250,000 visitors in the edition with the largest number of exhibitors, 152 countries, thus consolidating its global influence.
