Ruta del Vino Almansa took part in the 8th Culinaria Castilla-La Mancha Congress on Monday, 19 October, held at the José Luis Perales Auditorium in Cuenca. Its president, Antonio González, and coordinator, Cristina Maldonado, attended this important gastronomic event to promote the Route’s wine tourism experiences and wines, while highlighting the rich gastronomic heritage of our region..
Under the theme “With a Voice of Their Own”, this eighth edition of the Culinaria Castilla-La Mancha Congress focused on the talent and role of women in gastronomy, highlighting their contributions to areas such as cooking, production, research and entrepreneurship. Organised under the Raíz Culinaria Castilla-La Mancha gastronomic brand, the congress has established itself as a meeting point for chefs, hospitality professionals, producers and businesses within the sector.
Throughout the day, attendees enjoyed a varied programme of talks, live cooking demonstrations and professional networking opportunities, featuring renowned figures from the gastronomic industry. The congress also included a dedicated area for producers and exhibitors from Castilla-La Mancha, including Ruta del Vino Almansa.
During the event, visitors had the opportunity to taste a selection of wines from the Almansa Designation of Origin (DO Almansa) and discover the wine tourism experiences available along our Route. Winery visits, wine tastings, gastronomy, nature and cultural heritage are just some of the experiences that invite visitors to explore our region and enjoy a different kind of getaway.
Taking part in events such as Culinaria allows us to exchange experiences with other industry professionals, establish new connections and continue raising the profile of our destination beyond our local area.
At Ruta del Vino Almansa, we remain committed to participating in initiatives like this, helping more people discover our Route and encouraging them to visit and experience everything our region has to offer.
