Ruta del Vino Almansa attended the XXXI General Assembly of ACEVIN held in Cambados (Pontevedra, Spain).

Rutas del Vino Almansa was present at the new edition of the General Assembly of the Spanish Association of Wine Cities (ACEVIN), which took place on June 12, 13 and 14 in Cambados (Pontevedra).

Our route attended the event with our director, Rocío Jiménez, who shared with representatives of other routes different ideas, synergies and proposals with which we hope that Almansa Wine Route will continue to grow in the remainder of 2024 and in 2025. This assembly has become one of the events of reference for the wine tourism sector in Spain, from where the lines and actions to be followed for the development of the sector are proposed at a time of enormous projection for wine tourism.

Rosa Melchor, president of ACEVIN, highlighted the great work done by all the routes at national level as a whole, underlining the importance that “the Wine Routes of Spain have been able to improve and find such a powerful niche in the economy as we are seeing that is wine tourism”. This year new wine routes will be certified, which will bring the total number of certified wine routes in Spain to 40.

The event, organized in Cambados, as this town has the honor of being the Spanish City of Wine 2024The actions that will be carried out within the program were presented “Experiencias Turismo España”, driven by the State Secretariat of Tourism and financed with European funds Next Generation. Through it, the creation of new tourism experiences, training, marketing, digitalization and communication will continue to be promoted in the various wine routes in Spain. In addition, a Management Committee of Wine Routes of Spain was also held in Cambados.

Rocío Jiménez has valued as “fantastic” the presence of Almansa Wine Route in this event, especially “for the fact of being able to share and learn about the experience of other wine routes and how we can continue to evolve and grow as one of the wine routes of reference in the east of Spain”.
