The Almansa Wine Route has participated for the first time in the FINE #WineTourismExpo, one of the most important wine tourism events in Spain.
The fair, which took place in Valladolid on March 1 and 2, brought together more than 125 wineries and wine regions from Spain and Portugal, as well as 70 tour operators and travel agencies.
During the fair, the Almansa Wine Route presented all its cultural, gastronomic and wine offer, with the intention of making known what the region of Almansa can offer to tourists interested in the world of wine. In addition, the route was accompanied by the Junta de Comunidades de Castilla-La Mancha and the rest of the Wine Routes of the region.
Rosana TrujilloThe manager of the Almansa Wine Route, highlighted “the importance of attending these events together with the rest of the wine routes of Castilla-La Mancha to make known all that our territory offers and exchange points of interest to improve the promotion and development of our routes”.
FINE #WineTourismExpo is a trade fair to establish contacts and promote tourism in different wine areas, both nationally and internationally. And in this case, our route has made known the richness of the territory and the unique and differentiating characteristics of the region of Almansa where you can discover, feel and live a unique experience.
The participation of the Almansa Wine Route in the FINE #WineTourismExpo fair is a sign of the growing interest that wine tourism is awakening in the Almansa region and in the region of Castilla-La Mancha in general. The official certification of the route is expected in the coming months, which will be an important boost for tourism development in the area.
