Description
VISIT TO THE BODEGA TINTORALBA
Guided tour of the winery facilities (including a visit to the concrete tanks, bottling plant and barrel room). We will also have a projection and explanation of the elaboration process. We will end with a wine tasting.

VISIT TO THE SITE OF LA GRAJA
Visit to the site of “La Graja”, an ancient Islamic farmhouse from the 10th and 11th centuries. Despite the centuries
of abandonment we can clearly appreciate the plan of its houses and urbanism. At the site
we will be able to see the first rural mosque found in Castilla la Mancha, in addition to two houses
completely excavated. During the visit, we will learn about the medieval history of Higueruela and its
heritage, surrounded by an exceptional natural environment.
VISIT THE SALOBREJO LAGOON
Interpretative visit to the Sobralejo lagoon, the second largest lagoon in the area.

The waters are sulfate-magnesic in nature and host a great diversity of aquatic species.
The most common species are the white-headed duck, the red-crested pochard, the Purple Gallinule and the flamingo, among many others. The surrounding area is also home to populations of steppe birds such as the great bustard.
From an elevated point and using telescopes and binoculars we will learn to identify the
different species and we will learn about interesting aspects of the lagoon and its surroundings.

The spacious holiday homes at La Tortuga Feliz are suitable for 2 to 4 people. They are cosy and fully furnished, with many authentic details. There is a fully equipped kitchen, including a coffee maker and refrigerator, and a bathroom with a shower, toilet and sink. Enjoy the view from the cosy terrace and sleep in wonderful beds.
GRANDMOTHER’S HOUSE
La Casa de la Abuela se encuentra en Higueruela (Albacete) y fue construida en 1900. Tiene ese aire rústico de antaño, pero con un toque moderno que la hace muy acogedora.
It has three bedrooms (two with double beds and one with a trundle bed), as well as a sofa bed in the living room. In total, it can accommodate up to eight people. There are two bathrooms, one with a shower.
The kitchen is equipped with everything you need: toaster, microwave, refrigerator, dishwasher, oven and stove. And for maximum enjoyment, the house has a jacuzzi and table soccer. A perfect place to relax, spend a few quiet days and feel at home.
Conditions
Visiting hours at Bodega Tintoralba are from Monday to Friday, so visits on weekends are subject to availability or when the winery is on duty. In case a reservation is not possible, the agency will offer different alternatives.
