The history of Bodegas Cano dates back to 1860, when Blas Cano García founded the old winery in Higueruela (Albacete). Today, we are the fifth generation in the family business and have 140 hectares of our own vineyards located 1,000 metres above sea level. We grow varieties such as Monastrell, Verdejo, Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc organically, although our jewel in the crown is Garnacha Tintorera.

At Bodegas Cano, we produce some of our wines in old clay jars, original to our winery. This method of production gives our products a unique personality and characteristics.

Our wines, all of which are certified organic, have been awarded a gold medal at the 2019 Brussels World Competition and a silver medal at the 2019 Bacchus Awards. Recently, five of our wines have scored over 90 points in the 2025 Peñín Guide.
