Almansa Wine Route officially presents its wine tourism packages and experiences available starting this October

Ruta del Vino Almansa has officially presented all the packages and wine tourism experiences that from this October can be hired on our website. The presentation took place this past Monday at the Tourist Office of the City Council of Almansa.

The event was attended by the different associated companies that make up the Almansa Wine Route, along with public authorities of the different municipalities that are part of it. Javier Boj, Councillor for Tourism in the City Council of Almansa, stressed the importance of the Almansa Wine Route is already a reality, since, “in this way a synergy is created between the wine production of our area, the wide gastronomic offer, our heritage and the hotel offer”.

Although the official certification of the Almansa Wine Route has yet to be confirmed, which is expected in the coming months, Adolfo Cano, president of the route, has highlighted “all the work that has been done over the years in our region to offer visitors a wide range of wine tourism”.

Finally, Rosana Trujillo, manager of the Almansa Wine Route, explained to all the media and attendees the different packages that can be found on the web from now on to book, stressing that “The Almansa Wine Route has been a pioneer in many aspects when creating the different wine tourism packages and how they will be offered”.

The packages can be seen in the “Enoescapadas“of the Almansa Wine Route website. Each package has a description and, at the end of each one, users must fill out a form to make a reservation. Once sent, the agency will have 24-48 hours to contact the interested parties to formalize the contracted visit.

A wide range of different wine tourism experiences

A total of eleven wine tourism packages have been created combining the different partners: wine cellars, restaurants, cultural activities and accommodation.

The municipality of Almansa has four packages, Alpera has one and Higueruela has two. These packages include a visit to the different wineries in each municipality, lunch in a restaurant, cultural activities and accommodation. We also have a “Combined” package, which combines the municipalities of Pétrola-Hoya Gonzalo-Almansa.

Finally, there are also three experiences for large groups where a minimum number of people is required to book the package.

Customize your own experience

However, regardless of the eleven packages available, each person will be able to customize his or her own experience. personalize his or her own experienceThe winery you want to visit, the restaurant you want to eat at, the cultural activity you want to do and whether you want accommodation or not. In this way, the Almansa Wine Route offers the option of creating an infinite number of experiences for all tastes.

Important novelty of the route: we will have a “Bodega de Guardia”.

Rosana Trujillo has highlighted an important novelty of this Almansa Wine Route, which has been called the “Bodega de Guardia”. Since not all wineries have visiting hours during the weekends, a section has been created on the website known as “Winery on Duty”.On-call Winery“. In this way, each weekend, the wineries will take turns to be fully available during the same weekend.

All this is independent of the fact that there are wineries that, although they are not on “Bodega de Guardia” at that time, may offer visits on weekends. Therefore, it is recommended that the “Bodega de Guardia” is always taken into account when booking a wine tourism experience in Ruta del Vino Almansa. However, even if you want to visit a winery that is not on duty, booking is also encouraged, as the agency will contact the winery chosen by the user. In case it is not possible, the agency will offer different alternatives to carry out the experience.

From the organization of the Almansa Wine Route, all citizens of the associated municipalities, as well as from anywhere in Spain and beyond our borders, are encouraged to participate and live this wine tourism experience with all five senses. It’s time to discover, live and feel the Almansa Wine Route!
