The Almansa Wine Route holds its 2026 General Assembly and defines new promotional activities for the year

On Monday, 23rd February, the Almansa Wine Route held its Ordinary General Assembly at the Almansa Tourist Office, a key event for analysing the progress of the project and setting out the strategic lines for the new financial year.

During the Assembly, chaired by the president of the organisation and attended by the Board of Directors and members, a detailed assessment was made of the promotional activities carried out throughout 2025, evaluating the impact of the campaigns and their repercussions on the visibility and positioning of the Almansa Wine Route.

The new promotional initiatives planned for 2026 were also discussed. These will focus particularly on strengthening the presence of the Almansa Wine Route in the province and in the Community of Madrid, which is considered strategic for attracting visitors interested in wine tourism, gastronomy and the culture of the region.

During the General Assembly, the management carried out was reviewed, proposals were shared, and coordinated progress continued between the members, the Board of Directors, and the presidency, reaffirming the common commitment to strengthen the Almansa Wine Route as a leading wine tourism destination.

As part of this growth and projection, the organisation has also received some important news: the Almansa Wine Route has been nominated as a candidate for Best Route in Spain to Discover 2025 in the Best in Class Wine Awards of the Wine Up wine and spirits guide. This recognition is a boost to the work carried out in recent years and highlights the identity of the region, its wines, its heritage and the joint efforts of the wineries, establishments and municipalities involved.

Voting will remain open until 10 March, and you can participate via the following link: https://wineup.es/2026/02/18/nominados-best-in-class-wine-awards-2025-guia-wine-up/

Antonio González gives an excellent assessment of what 2025 has been like.

The president of the Almansa Wine Route, Antonio González, highlighted the progress made over the last financial year and the joint work carried out by the organisation:

“2025 has been a busy year of promotional activities for our Route, in which we have continued to consolidate our position with the arrival of new partners and have continued to promote all the wine tourism attractions that our region has to offer.”

With this new roadmap for 2026, the organisation continues to work with a strategic vision focused on sustainable growth, promotion and enhancement of the tourism resources of the companies and municipalities participating in the Route: Almansa, Alpera, Higueruela and Hoya Gonzalo.
