The town has direct access via national highways. If you are coming to the <strong>Almansa Wine Route<\/strong> from <strong>Madrid<\/strong>, it is about 320 kilometers by highway (A-3 and A-31), although you can also get there by train or bus.  <\/p>\n\n<p>From <strong>Alicante<\/strong>, the A-31 motorway connects directly to <strong>Almansa<\/strong>, with turnoffs to <strong>Alpera, Higueruela, and Hoya Gonzalo<\/strong> after passing Almansa, allowing you to easily reach any of the four towns. If you are traveling to <strong>Almansa<\/strong> from <strong>Murcia<\/strong>, you can take the A-7 motorway to the <strong>Elche<\/strong> junction and then take the A-31 motorway towards <strong>Albacete<\/strong>, which will take you to <strong>Almansa<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n<p>From Valencia, you can reach <strong>Almansa<\/strong> via the A-35 motorway, heading towards Almansa from the capital of <strong>Turia<\/strong>. To get to <strong>Alpera, Higueruela, and Hoya Gonzalo<\/strong>, the turn-offs after <strong>Almansa<\/strong> are the same as those described above when traveling from <strong>Alicante<\/strong> to our route.<\/p>\n\n<p>If you are traveling by train, Almansa station is connected by medium-distance lines to the main cities in the surrounding area (check timetables at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.renfe.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">www.renfe.com<\/a>): <strong>Valencia, Alicante, and Madrid<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n<p>If you are flying from another part of <strong>Spain<\/strong> or outside <strong>Spain<\/strong>, the nearest airports are <strong>Alicante-Elche Airport (ALC)<\/strong>, 1 hour away by car, <strong>Valencia Airport (VLC)<\/strong>, 1 hour and 30 minutes away, or <strong>Albacete Airport<\/strong> (Los Llanos), with limited domestic flights.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">How to get from Almansa to Higueruela, Alpera, and other towns along the route?<\/h2>\n\n<p>Una vez en <strong>Almansa<\/strong>, es posible visitar f\u00e1cilmente el resto de los municipios que forman parte de la <strong>Ruta del Vino de Almansa<\/strong>. La mejor opci\u00f3n para desplazarse es en coche particular o de alquiler.
